Event: The Importance of Young Trusteeship in Scotland

15 Oct 2018

As part of Trustees' Week, ACOSVO are hosting a free speed networking event to introduce third sector board representatives and future young trustees. The event will explore why it is important to have young trustees on your board.

Throughout 2018, the “Year of Young People”, members of the Governance Forum will be working with the International Voluntary Service to promote their 'Young Trustee Campaign' (asking for 250 charities to pledge to recruit a young person (26 and under) to their board). This event will provide a venue for 25 organisations who have made this pledge, and 25 young people to meet and “speed network”.

It will be held on Thursday, 15 November 2018 from 15:00 to 17:00 in Edinburgh.
