The organisation has been formed to benefit the community of Corstorphine as more fully described in 4.2.2 below (the “Community”) with the following purposes: 4. And for those purposes to work with the City of Edinburgh Council and any successor organisations (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Council’), voluntary organisations and inhabitants in the area of benefit. 4.3 To co-operate with the Council in establishing, maintaining and managing a youth and community centre situated in the area of benefit (to be known as The ‘Corstorphine Community Centre’) which may be grant aided by the Council insofar as it is established, maintained and managed for the attainment of clauses 4.1 and 4.2 above.
Operations:
What the charity is set up to do and how it does this:
CCC is set up to provide a community space in which to provide a range of recreational activities including the provision of a youth centre situated in the area of "Greater Corstorphine". We offer a programme of activities on a weekly basis has grown again with 26 regular groups on offer. We still have waiting lists, and we have moved some groups to bigger areas to accommodate new members. A selection of activities offered are: Men's shed, art classes, baby & toddler groups, range of craft groups, walking groups and 2 youth groups. We have expanded our youth provision with a Friday Craft and Games session for parent/carers/grandparents and children which developed out of the summer sessions in 2024. We have also implemented a Junior Youth Club for P7’s transitioning from Primary School to Secondary School. We held 2 Community Fairs – one in June and one in December – with over 400 people attending each event and raising much needed funds for the groups’ activities.

From 09 March 2026, OSCR is required by law to publish the names of a charity’s trustees as part of its Scottish Charity Register entry. We are also required to publish each charity’s annual report and accounts as received from this date, which may include the names of certain individuals. The only exceptions to publication are where a charity or one of its charity trustees applies for this information to be excluded, and OSCR is satisfied that publishing it would jeopardise the safety or security of a person or premises.

If the charity trustee information on a Register entry appears blank, this may mean that an exemption applies or that the charity has not yet provided the required details to OSCR. Supplying this information will become mandatory as part of future annual submissions.
