Statement on the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

Speaking after the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, George Walker, Interim Chair of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) said:

"We join our nation in expressing our sorrow at the death of Her Majesty The Queen, and send our sincere condolences to her family today.

"She dedicated her life to public service, and gave her personal and public support to a range of charities in Scotland and beyond.

"During this period of mourning we will join with others to reflect on the positive spirit she embodied throughout her reign, and the enduring legacy of service and dedication that she leaves behind."
