We've launched a new search tool on the OSCR website to help you find the information you need more quickly and easily.

You can access the OSCR Finder here.

The tool allows you to ask questions in your own words, rather than searching using keywords. It then generates a response based on relevant content published on the OSCR website.

Alongside its answer, the tool also highlights related pages and guidance from our website. This allows you to view the source information and read the full guidance for more detail.

We hope the tool will make it easier for charities, trustees and members of the public to find information about charity regulation in Scotland and access the guidance they need.

The search tool uses content from the OSCR website only. While we aim to provide accurate and helpful information, responses are generated using an AI model and may occasionally contain errors or omissions. We encourage users to refer to the source information and guidance provided to verify any details, and links are included in its responses to check this information.

The tool is currently in beta mode. This means we will continue to test and improve it over the coming months.
