4.1 To advance knowledge of and education in railway transport heritage for the benefit of the public by way of restoring the Ferryhill Engine Shed and curtilage, and the Ferryhill Railway Turntable and curtilage, to provide a heritage centre. 4.2 For the advancement of heritage and educational purposes, to store, display and demonstrate railway heritage Specimens. 4.3 To provide recreational facilities and advance the social needs, health and well-being of people of all ages and backgrounds living in Ferryhill, Aberdeen and surrounding areas. In furtherance of the above objectives, the Trust will 4.4 provide facilities for the operation of locomotive hauled railway trains. 4.5 provide workshop facilities to operate, repair, and maintain plant and equipment to support the functions of the Trust. 4.6 offer opportunities for people in the area to meet and undertake creative, physical, purposeful and recreational activities of their choice. 4.7 reduce isolation of people in the area thus contributing to their physical and mental wellbeing. 4.8 develop the capacity of people in the area to share their skills and knowledge with others in the community.

You have the right to the following information under section 23 (1)(a) and (b) of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005, from the charity direct:
