CCLASP is established for charitable purposes only and specifically to promote, or assist in the promotion of, the prevention and relief of sickness, suffering and distress of children in Scotland who suffer from leukaemia, cancer or other blood related disorders and their families and to advance the education of parents of such children trough: a) the provision of information and non-financial support to families by telephone and through monthly meetings of a Parents' Support Group; b) the provision of transport to clinics; c) the organisation of a minimum of four outings per year for children and their families if funds are available. In furtherance of the above objects CCLASP shall have the right to operate such facilities as are deemed necessary by the Executive Committee. CCLASP will seek to cooperate with any other body, whether statutory or voluntary, having objects which are consistent with the objects of CCLASP. In this respect efforts will be made to initiate such cooperation .
