The objects of the Teviothead Village Hall committee shall be:- To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Teviothead by associating the local and statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life of the aforementioned inhabitants. In furtherance thereof: a) to implement the conditions of the Trust Deed dated 19.2.1986 in favour of the Trustees for the Community of the village of Teviothead and its inhabitants. b) To maintain and manage the Teviothead Village Hall for activities promoted by the Committee and other organisations/ individuals, and to carry out any extension of the premises or facilities provided which may at any time seem necessary or desirable. The Committee shall be non-party-political and non sectarian.
