Yoker Resource Centre is a user led community anchor organisation which draws on dedicated local residents who have extensive knowledge and experience of the local and surrounding areas, including its strengths, weaknesses and development needs. Our skills and experience cover areas of support to childcare, disabled, elderly, housing, environmental, health and safety, legal and planning together with well-established local networks and partnerships founded with public, private and voluntary sectors. We have demonstrated commitment and ability to positively develop services and facilities as well as overcome disappointments over the last 40 years in order to regenerate our local community. Yoker Resource Centre also fits the profile of a community-managed, responsive, responsible, and locally representative organisation. We have a reputation for delivering projects and facilities to specifications, on time and on budget.

From 09 March 2026, OSCR is required by law to publish the names of a charity’s trustees as part of its Scottish Charity Register entry. The Scottish Charity Register contains key information about a charity’s operations and finances. This includes:

  • the names of a charity’s trustees (exemptions apply)
  • its annual report and full accounts, if submitted after 9 March 2026
    (Accounts submitted prior to 9 March 2026 will be redacted, or may not be published, depending on the charity’s income level or legal form.)

These changes are designed to improve transparency across the charity sector in Scotland.
