What the charity is set up to do and how it does this:
Montrose Baptist Fellowahip is a small church providing Sunday worship services and seeking to spread the Gospel in Montrose and surrounding area. During the week there are meetings for women and men, prayer and Bible Study, and twice monthly there is a Community Cafe which is well attended., including by the local befriender group and a care home. .There is a strong connection with a neighbouring facility for vulnerable adults (Silverway) and support is given where possible to the community via Foodbank donations, and providing a Polling Station for local and national elections. There is also contact with the local Primary School in Borrowfield. The Fellowship is also supportive of other charities linked to Christian causes around the world.
