To support financially such actions, initiatives and projects as may be proposed or undertaken by the WS Society and approved by the Trustees from time to time for or in connection with the preservation, repair, maintenance, renewal and improvement of the heritable property known as the Signet Library, Parliament Square, Edinburgh and/or any part(s) thereof and all of its contents (including, without limitation, paintings, pictures, sculptures, silverware, objets d'art, furniture, furnishings, books, historic records, manuscripts, muniments and papers, and plant and equipment) (the whole building and contents being together referred to as "the Signet Library") and in, particular, without prejudice, to the generality of the foregoing, to pay and apply the whole or so much, if any, of the income or capital of the Trust Fund as the Trustees think fit towards the support of the aforementioned actions, initiatives and projects; DECLARING that in selecting and approving such actions, initiatives and projects for support by the Trust Fund the Trustees shall take cognisance of the WS Society's immediate and strategic priorities in such matters.
