Our purpose is to glorify God by conducting a Baptist Church in accordance with the Word of God, as it is summarized by the doctrinal statement called the Confessions of Faith, and by the governmental rules of the Covenant and Constitution of this local Church, and by promoting the worship of our God, building up of believers, teaching the whole council of God, administering the ordinances and Biblical discipline, seeking to win the lost to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ by witnessing and preaching the Gospel, seeking the lost in a dying world by carrying out a vigorous missionary program around the world which establishes other Baptist churches, individually defending the faith and maintaining a good testimony for Christ in our community by godliness and good works.

From January 2026, OSCR will begin publishing annual reports and accounts in full online once they are received. This marks a change from the current approach, where OSCR publishes accounts for certain charities, depending on their legal form and income, with personal details redacted.

When a charity publishes its accounts on its website and has supplied us with a link, we have made this available. From late 2017, where the charity is a company, a registered social landlord or is also registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales, a link is provided to the relevant regulator’s website where the accounts are made available. We accept no responsibility for the functionality, accuracy, or content of external websites – if you experience a technical issue with an external link, you should contact the charity directly.

You have the right to the following information under section 23 (1)(a) and (b) of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005, from the charity direct:

  • a copy of the charity’s latest statement of accounts
  • a copy of the charity’s constitution.
