The organisations purposes are: 4.1 To advance community development by promoting issues and concerns that effect the veteran community at a local level with local partners, local authority and Health partners by engagement at various forums and to provide a voice for these problems and concerns and to improve access to services for veterans (and their families) in order to reduce social isolation. 4.2 To organise recreational activities in a supportive environment to bring veterans (and their families) together to socialise, discuss issues, raise concerns and make friends; aiding self-esteem and confidence and reducing social isolation and loneliness. 4.3 To relieve the needs of local veterans? What the charity is set up to do and how it does this:

We exist to look after the welfare and welbeing of the local veterans' community. That also includes the veterans' of our allies. It additionally includes their families and surviving partners. We complete this by meetings, social gatherings and events where we can combat social isolation and continue to engage the membership within a familiar and robust environment that is safe and supportive.
