4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 Our purpose is to encourage, motivate and inspire young people in our community and in particular, young people within the black and minority ethnic (BME) communities, to help them gain practical experience of workplace, help them build confidence and develop their skills, qualities and aspirations to be future leaders, be fulfilled and have rewarding careers.

What the charity is set up to do and how it does this:
We create awareness and organise events where the young people from the black and minority ethnic communities meet professionals in their communities who inspire them to aim high and believe in themselves. We usually rent a hall for each event and the speaker who is a professional in a field of study would take our young people through their career journey. We had invited Doctors, a lawyer, engineers and a supply chain professional. Each event would normally have three sessions. The first session is where we, the organisers introduce ourselves to our young people and tell them the purpose of the event and what we hope they can gain from it. The second session is where the speakers introduce themselves and take our young people through their education and career journeys which help our young people understand the type of subjects they need to take. The third session is usually on questions and answers.

The Scottish Charity Register contains key information about a charity’s operations and finances. This includes:

  • the names of a charity’s trustees (exemptions apply)
  • its annual report and full accounts, if submitted after 9 March 2026
    (Accounts submitted prior to 9 March 2026 will be redacted, or may not be published, depending on the charity’s income level or legal form.)

These changes are designed to improve transparency across the charity sector in Scotland.
