4.1 The objects of the Company are:- (a) to raise awareness of human trafficking, to support and relieve the need of survivors of human trafficking, and secure the enhancement of human trafficking legislation in Scotland by: i. Hosting, organising, taking part in and otherwise supporting seminars, conferences and events to raise public awareness and raise funds; ii. Partnering and working with other charities, organisations, local authorities and other bodies to support and improve the lives of survivors of human trafficing; iii. Working with universities and other organisations to instruct and support research into human trafficking, iv. Campaigning for the enhancement of human trafficking legislation, and v. Providing direct support, financial or otherwise, to the survivors of human trafficking; and (b) to promote such similar charitable purposes, objects or institutions in such proportions and manner as the Trustees shall think fit.

What the charity is set up to do and how it does this:
To end human trafficking in Scotland and mitigate the risks of re-trafficking by engaging in prevention initiatives, victim recovery, and survivor support provided via practical support, advocacy and therapeutic interventions. We use our expertise and that of lived experience to influence local and national polices which impact the risks and mitigations of trafficking and exploitation of vulnerable people.

  • its annual report and full accounts, if submitted after 9 March 2026
    (Accounts submitted prior to 9 March 2026 will be redacted, or may not be published, depending on the charity’s income level or legal form.)

These changes are designed to improve transparency across the charity sector in Scotland.
