Fool On supports people aged 16 and over who are living with mental health challenges by using the performing arts to improve confidence, self-esteem, resilience and overall wellbeing. The charity delivers free weekly performing arts workshops across North Lanarkshire, including comedy, music, creative writing, singing and performance, helping individuals in recovery to rebuild confidence, form social connections and regain a sense of purpose. Fool On operates a studio in Coatbridge providing rehearsal and recording spaces for members to practise, collaborate and develop original work. The charity also delivers regular performance opportunities and outreach performances in NHS mental health wards and care homes, offering live music and creative engagement to individuals who may not otherwise access the arts. Through these activities, Fool On promotes connection, self-expression and positive mental wellbeing.

From 09 March 2026, OSCR is required by law to publish the names of a charity’s trustees as part of its Scottish Charity Register entry. The Scottish Charity Register contains key information about a charity’s operations and finances. This includes:

  • the names of a charity’s trustees (exemptions apply)
  • its annual report and full accounts, if submitted after 9 March 2026
    (Accounts submitted prior to 9 March 2026 will be redacted, or may not be published, depending on the charity’s income level or legal form.)

These changes are designed to improve transparency across the charity sector in Scotland.
