It operates a food bank distributing over 14,000 parcels annually to combat food insecurity, partners with schools, and engages in global humanitarian aid like disaster relief and clean water projects. AFECC promotes environmental care through local clean-up initiatives and cycle racks. Its education programmes include Qur’anic classes, women’s Islamic diplomas, and early childhood support groups. Daily prayers, Ramadan events, and family gatherings nurture faith and community bonds. AFECC also fosters intercultural understanding via tours and exhibitions.   • its annual report and full accounts, if submitted after 9 March 2026
    (Accounts submitted prior to 9 March 2026 will be redacted, or may not be published, depending on the charity’s income level or legal form.)

These changes are designed to improve transparency across the charity sector in Scotland.
