Fife Centre for Equalities (FCE) is a local charity funded by Fife Council with the charitable aims of raising awareness and understanding of equality and diversity across all communities and community groups in Fife. FCE provides access to appropriate information, assistance and training to communities and community groups in support of fair and inclusive community development. We work with communities and organisations to barriers to enable taking part in local decision making. We support local groups and organisations improve their inclusion practices through training, policy and practice advice and equality information. We listen to the experiences of diverse communities in Fife to help improve services access and reach. We provide opportunities such as forums and community events for individuals to connect with each other, with equality organisations and help reduce social isolation.

From 09 March 2026, OSCR is required by law to publish the names of a charity’s trustees as part of its Scottish Charity Register entry. We are also required to publish each charity’s annual report and accounts as received from this date, which may include the names of certain individuals. The only exceptions to publication are where a charity or one of its charity trustees applies for this information to be excluded, and OSCR is satisfied that publishing it would jeopardise the safety or security of a person or premises. If the charity trustee information on a Register entry appears blank, this may mean that an exemption applies or that the charity has not yet provided the required details to OSCR.
