2. Aim and Objectives The aim of the association shall be to provide support for parents, carers and autistic children from the Vale of Leven and surrounding areas that are affected by Autism by: The provision of recreational activities or organisation of recreational activities which will: a) Break their isolation within the community by providing access to a suitable venue, training, leisure interests and social activities suitable to their needs. b) Provide activities to forum members based around health, education and leisure suitable to their needs. i.e. trips, cooking workshops, information seminars,specialist input etc. The relief of those in need through: a) The provision of a supportive and welcome environment suitable for children with autism and their carers through the provision of a suitable location and venue i.e. a sensory room b) Liaising with other groups and agencies to benefit its members through access to information, networking and events around autism locally, regionally and nationally. c) To build confidence and boost self esteem by encouraging forum members and their children to support each other. d) Through the aid and support provided by the forum's existence which will have an impact on all associated with autism. e) By the provision of a sensory room

You have the right to the following information under section 23 (1)(a) and (b) of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005, from the charity direct:
