The objects of the Charity ("the Objects") are the relief of persons suffering from haemophilia and allied disorders in Europe, for the benefit of the public, particularly but not exclusively by: 1. recognising, measuring and addressing the problems of people with haemophilia and allied disorders, protecting their interests and ensuring the provision of the highest quality of care available; 2. promoting research in the above areas; 3. disseminating knowledge through the appropriate scientific channels and educating practitioners, clinical scientists, professionals allied to medicine and the general public in the knowledge of haemophilia and allied disorders and their treatment.

From late 2017, where the charity is a company, a registered social landlord or is also registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales, a link is provided to the relevant regulator’s website where the accounts are made available. You have the right to the following information under section 23 (1)(a) and (b) of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005, from the charity direct:

  • a copy of the charity’s latest statement of accounts
  • a copy of the charity’s constitution.
