The advancement of environmental improvement and protection and the provision of recreational facilities and activities for the public benefit in the City of Aberdeen and in furtherance of this; a. To protect and enhance the amenity of Hazlehead Park area and environs for the long-term enjoyment of all groups and to encourage its use. b. The Friends of Hazlehead is an active community group which aims to work alongside Aberdeen City Council to improve the facilities and infrastructure of the park. We work with local communities to help make the park open to all which includes maintenance and events to encourage the use of the park. Funding is received from the local council, local businesses and individuals.
