(a) To preserve, promote and encourage the use of BMX, Rollerblading and Skateboarding in Fraserburgh. (b) Enhance and transform the appearance of the existing proposed area, therefore improving the surrounding environment. (c) To establish a Skatepark facility for Extreme Sports in Fraserburgh within a safe environment, for all levels of skills, ensuring the park is demanding enough for users to reach their full potential although straightforward enough for beginners. (d) To give a positive channel for the personal development and fitness of its users, in particular young people and adolescents. (e) To enable new and existing participants of the sport to perform on a purpose built facility which will advance the long term development of the sport in the area. (f) To represent and unite the interests of new and existing Skatepark users and to encourage the advancement of public participation in the sport thus improving the skills, talents and health through physical exertion. (g) To provide a benefit to the inhabitants of Fraserburgh and to the wider public at large (without distinction or discrimination) while working in partnership with local residents, voluntary organisations and the local authority to provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time so that their quality of life may be improved. (h) To provide sports equality by ensuring fairness, justice, inclusion and respect for diversity. Ensuring that everyone has an equal opportunity to participate in and contribute to extreme sport s or physical recreation, if they choose to do so. To ensure that no one is discriminated against unfairly for any reason including but not limited to - gender, race, disability, age, religion, political belief, sexual orientation, social background, ethnic origin etc. Further charitable purposes can be obtained from the charity directly.

From 09 March 2026, OSCR is required by law to publish the names of a charity’s trustees as part of its Scottish Charity Register entry. We are also required to publish each charity’s annual report and accounts as received from this date, which may include the names of certain individuals. The only exceptions to publication are where a charity or one of its charity trustees applies for this information to be excluded, and OSCR is satisfied that publishing it would jeopardise the safety or security of a person or premises.

If the charity trustee information on a Register entry appears blank, this may mean that an exemption applies or that the charity has not yet provided the required details to OSCR. Supplying this information will become mandatory as part of future annual submissions.

  • its annual report and full accounts, if submitted after 9 March 2026
    (Accounts submitted prior to 9 March 2026 will be redacted, or may not be published, depending on the charity’s income level or legal form.)

These changes are designed to improve transparency across the charity sector in Scotland.
