What the charity is set up to do and how it does this:
The charity was set up primarily to restore and preserve two historic buildings in Forres, The Tolbooth and Nelson's Tower. The Tolbooth is maintained as a historic building and a facility for local groups to hire. Nelson's Tower is opened to the public seven days a week from April to September. The charity also assists more broadly in promoting the heritage of the town in conjunction with other local groups.

    (Accounts submitted prior to 9 March 2026 will be redacted, or may not be published, depending on the charity’s income level or legal form.)

These changes are designed to improve transparency across the charity sector in Scotland.
