To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and by other such ways as the orchestra though it's committee shall determine from time to time: a) To provide an orchestra of the higKest quality for the production of Charity Gala Concerts and events to raise the profile of Scottish charities and encourage, promote and develop quality musical programmes. b) To take orchestral music to a wider audience and promote education across a diverse range of community groups, supporting and promoting commissioning of new work across the arts.
