3. Purpose The company's purpose is to: 1) Educate. In furtherance of which we will teach good hosemanship and stable management skills, welfare of animals, care of the environment, cornmuncation and social skills. This will be given at the Centre by centre staff and volunteers, to all those attending the Centre, particularly those resident In the lacality. 2) Advance communrty development. In furtherance of which we will provide amenfty and a sporting facility for the use of the local community. This will done by the development of land at Clan Donald, Sleat and the maintenance of the sumundlng path structure.This facility is aimed primarliy at members of the local communrty whllst engaging in tourism to enhance its development. This will be delivered by Directors of the company in the company in their stragetic planning. 3) Advance public participation in sport. In furtherence of which we will be providing the facilities and animals for participation in horse riding. By marketing the centre and liasion with local schools we will actively encourage locaf children and adults to develop new skills equestrian sport. The marketing will be carried out by staff and volunteers involved in the Centre. 4) Provide recreational facilities. In furtherence of which we will provlde a facility and horses all year round in order that people can enjoy the local scenery and countryslde. It also -a meeting point for children and adults to sodalise. This is provided by staff and volunteers to all who attend the Centre. 5) Provide assistance to those in need by reason of disability. In furtherance of which we will ensure that there is access to all parts of the Centre for those with a disability. We will provide animals with a temperament suitable for riding or handling for those with a dlsability. We will seek approval from riding for the Disabled (RDA) and ensure the relevant staff are suitably trained 6) Advance animal welfare - 200 word limit

From January 2026, OSCR will begin publishing annual reports and accounts in full online once they are received. This marks a change from the current approach, where OSCR publishes accounts for certain charities, depending on their legal form and income, with personal details redacted.

When a charity publishes its accounts on its website and has supplied us with a link, we have made this available. From late 2017, where the charity is a company, a registered social landlord or is also registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales, a link is provided to the relevant regulator’s website where the accounts are made available. We accept no responsibility for the functionality, accuracy, or content of external websites – if you experience a technical issue with an external link, you should contact the charity directly.

You have the right to the following information under section 23 (1)(a) and (b) of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005, from the charity direct:

  • a copy of the charity’s latest statement of accounts
  • a copy of the charity’s constitution.
