What the charity is set up to do and how it does this:
We are a local rural museum, with the collection of artefacts having been collected from local donations and loans. We are open on a weekend from the begining of may until the end of september. We also take part in the local " doors open day" which happens in early september. We also have a collection of family history as our museum is situated in what was the local church and is within a living graveyard, which attreacts visitors looking for fam,ily information.

From 09 March 2026, OSCR is required by law to publish the names of a charity’s trustees as part of its Scottish Charity Register entry. We are also required to publish each charity’s annual report and accounts as received from this date, which may include the names of certain individuals.     (Accounts submitted prior to 9 March 2026 will be redacted, or may not be published, depending on the charity’s income level or legal form.)

These changes are designed to improve transparency across the charity sector in Scotland.
