The objectives of the service shall be, through the provision of a regular and varied output of radio programmes, to inform, educate and entertain (1) patients in Dr Gray's Hospital in order to aid their comfort and convalescence (2) the local community in order to promote health and wellness. Wherever possible, this service shall also be provided to other Hospitals, Hospices, Old Persons' Homes and/or similar institutions, and to persons receiving care in the community, in the Moray geographical area.

What the charity is set up to do and how it does this:
Wave Radio is intended to inform educate and entertain patients in Dr Gray's Hospital to aid their comfort and convalescence and also the wider local community in order to promote health and wellbeing. To do this Wave Radio provides a 24 hour radio service both within Dr Gray’s Hospital and to the local community by broadcasting a range of daytime and evening programmes.
