(1) The Trust shall be established for the public benefit to advance the education of persons in the anatomy and muscular functions of the human body with a view to minimising the risk of sport injuries and/or improving the diagnosis and treatment of such injuries; ( 2 ) To organise or provide or assist in the organisation or provision of facilities and equipment that will enable and encourage young persons who are pupils or students of, or attend Schools, Colleges, Universities or other educational establishments to participate in athletics or other sports in such a way as to assist in ensuring that due atcention is given to the physical education and development of such persons as well as to the development and occupation of their minds; (3) To organise or provide or assist in the organisation or provision of facilities and equipment for physical recreation in the interests of social welfare for young persons who, by reason of their youth or social and economic circumstances, have need of such facilities and equipment with the object of improving the condition of life for the young persons for whom the same are provided; (4) The payment of the expenses of constituting and administering the Trust hereby created and of any Government duties or taxes which may in the circumstances be exigible from the Trust fund in the United Kingdom or elsewhere; DECLARING that the Trustees shall have an absolute discretion to decide which expenses of administration shall be charged against Revenue and,which against Capital; For the accumulation of all of any of the income of 1 the Trust fund that shall not have been applied for the purposes beforementioned, which accumulated income shall be capitalised on an annual basis. From April 2016 we began to publish charities’ accounts, initially for those charities with an annual income of £25,000 or more, and for all SCIOs.

When a charity publishes its accounts on its website and has supplied us with a link, we have made this available. From late 2017, where the charity is a company, a registered social landlord or is also registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales, a link is provided to the relevant regulator’s website where the accounts are made available. We accept no responsibility for the functionality, accuracy, or content of external websites – if you experience a technical issue with an external link, you should contact the charity directly.

You have the right to the following information under section 23 (1)(a) and (b) of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005, from the charity direct:

  • a copy of the charity’s latest statement of accounts
  • a copy of the charity’s constitution.
