As stated in our constitution, our purpose is to provide and maintain the 252 Memorial Hall premises at 26, Betson Street, Markinch, to a satisfactory standard to provide accommodation for the local uniformed youth organisations, namely the Scout Association and Guide Association youth groups. We also support the leaders of these youth groups in fundraising to meet the operational costs and costs of maintenance and refurbishment. We also offer the premises as a facility to other community groups, of all ages who require accommodation to carry out their activities.

    (Accounts submitted prior to 9 March 2026 will be redacted, or may not be published, depending on the charity’s income level or legal form.)

These changes are designed to improve transparency across the charity sector in Scotland.
