The objects of the Association shall be :- (a) To promote the benefite of the inhabitants of Wemyss Bay and surrounding area by associating the local authority, voluntary , organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and provide facilities in the interest of social we [fare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life of the inhabitants. (b) In furtherance thereof provide a management service in order to ensure the effective use of the Community Hall including equitable allocation of the accommodation and resources within the Hall to groups or persons residing within the area.

What the charity is set up to do and how it does this:

WBCA provide day to day management of the community centre where local groups hold classes etc for the local community. We also manage children's parties at the weekend in the centre. We carry out activities for the benefit of the local community of Wemyss Bay (for example - Christmas Lights Switch On event, Gala Day and Family Fun nights). We also provide financial assistance to local community groups.
