The aims of the Group shall be: a) To achieve the restoration, renovation and conservation of the property known as Tangwick Haa, Eshaness, Shetland. b) To create and maintain within Tangwick Haa an information and exhibition centre for the benefit of Northmavine in particular, and the Shetland Islands in general, and of visitors to the area. c) To publish books, leaflets etc. within the Haa. the Haa itself and dealing with the collections with the Northmavine area and matters pertaining thereto. d) To organise meetings and elsewhere to promote information and culture of Northmavine. lectures within Tangwick and education about the Haa and history e) To undertake such other activities. charitable in law. From 09 March 2026, OSCR is required by law to publish the names of a charity’s trustees as part of its Scottish Charity Register entry. We are also required to publish each charity’s annual report and accounts as received from this date, which may include the names of certain individuals.     (Accounts submitted prior to 9 March 2026 will be redacted, or may not be published, depending on the charity’s income level or legal form.)

These changes are designed to improve transparency across the charity sector in Scotland.
