What the charity is set up to do and how it does this:

Friends of Kirkcaldy Galleries is primarily and organisation which was established to support the work of Kirkcaldy Galleries, This support is mainly financial which can assist the Galleries in the purchasing and the conservation of art works and items in the Museum collection. Support is also given to other request for the benefit of the Galleries. In the year 2024-25 we have funded conservation and commissions totalling £11826. There exist a close working relationship between the Friends group and the staff of the Galleries . WE raise money through membership subscriptions/donations. a 50/50 Club and ad hoc fund raising events.
