The objectives of the Management Committee shall be: a) To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Leithland/Brockburn/Kempsthorn and Cornalee Areas of Pollok without distinction of Political, Religious or other opinions, by associating with local Authorities, Voluntary Organizations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of Social Welfare for recreation and / leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. b) To secure the establishment and management of Community Project and be responsible for the maintenance and management of the Project, for activities promoted by the Management Committee furtherance of the above objectives in c) The Management Committee will undertake to identify the appropriate usage of the premises as and when necessary.

From late 2017, where the charity is a company, a registered social landlord or is also registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales, a link is provided to the relevant regulator’s website where the accounts are made available. You have the right to the following information under section 23 (1)(a) and (b) of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005, from the charity direct:

  • a copy of the charity’s latest statement of accounts
  • a copy of the charity’s constitution.
