WE DIRECT the Trustees to hold the Fund for the following purposes:- (Two) to hold the Fund for the following charitable purposes:- (a) to hold the Fund, for the purpose of making such payments from its income and capital to such bodies or organisations established for charitable purposes with the objective of undertaking Medical Research work; Medical Care or Relief work; the provision of diagnostic or other medical equipment or machinery; and generally any work the nature of which is to further the advancement of medicine. From January 2026, OSCR will begin publishing annual reports and accounts in full online once they are received. This marks a change from the current approach, where OSCR publishes accounts for certain charities, depending on their legal form and income, with personal details redacted.

When a charity publishes its accounts on its website and has supplied us with a link, we have made this available. From late 2017, where the charity is a company, a registered social landlord or is also registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales, a link is provided to the relevant regulator’s website where the accounts are made available. We accept no responsibility for the functionality, accuracy, or content of external websites – if you experience a technical issue with an external link, you should contact the charity directly.

You have the right to the following information under section 23 (1)(a) and (b) of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005, from the charity direct:

  • a copy of the charity’s latest statement of accounts
  • a copy of the charity’s constitution.
