The purposes of the Church include: Section 1. To exalt the ministry of the open Bible. Section 2. To bring men, women and children to a personal acquaintance with Jesus Christ through the proclamation of the gospel of Christ Jesus. Section 3. To bear witness to all biblical truths, teaching and proclaiming the whole counsel of God. Section 4. To establish and maintain places of worship in Inverness and other locations in Scotland. Section 5. To conduct religious services at the times and places appointed. Section 6. To organise a Bible Training Centre for training Christians for effective christian living and service. Section 7. To solicit funds, collect monies, receive gifts and bequests, and otherwise raise money to fulfil the above stated purpose. Section 8. To license and ordain to the Gospel ministry those who are called of God and deemed to be qualified for the ministry of evangelisation, teaching or pastoring. Section 9. To expend, contribute, disperse, and otherwise handle and dispose of funds received. Section 10. To purchase, lease, rent, acquire, own, use, or otherwise dispose of any buildings or properties as may be necessary for the above purposes. Section 11. To govern itself according to this constitution and the by-laws adopted for the government of the church.

the names of a charity’s trustees (exemptions apply)
its annual report and full accounts, if submitted after 9 March 2026
(Accounts submitted prior to 9 March 2026 will be redacted, or may not be published, depending on the charity’s income level or legal form.)

These changes are designed to improve transparency across the charity sector in Scotland.
