The Trustees shall hold the Trust Fund, and shall apply the same in whole or in part, both capital and income, for any one or more of the following purposes and with and subject to the following powers and discretions, such powers and discretions to be exercisable from time to time and at any time by the Trustees as regards the whole or such part or parts of the Trust Fund or income thereof as the Trustees in their discretion may decide, videlicet:- , (i) to accumulate the whole or any part of the income of the Trust Fund with the capital thereof; (ii) to pay a Scholarship or Bursary of such amount as the Trustees may determine to any Student selected by the Trustees who is matriculated in the University and is engaged in research in the Department of Physics or in the Department of Theoretical Physics; (iii) to pay, or to assist in the payment of, travelling expenses to or on behalf of any Member of the Department of Physics or of the Department of Theoretical Physics in the University selected by the Trustees, to enable such Member to attend any Conference or Meeting of a learned Society or similar gathering, or to visit any Library or Laboratory, provided that the Trustees are satisfied that any such attendance or visit will advance education or promote scientific, research; (iv) to implement within the Department of Physics or the Department of Theoretical Physics such other legally charitable purpose for the advancement of education or promotion of research as the Trustees may decide upon.
