What the charity is set up to do and how it does this:
Monifieth South Angus Church is set up primarily to be a Christian organisation. Services are held in Monifieth each Sunday with a mid-week service held in Murroes Hall. We also provide hall facilities for the community of Monifieth and the larger rural area of South Angus. These community groups include Monifieth South Angus Church Guild, Monifieth Probus Club, Breast Buddies, Strathspey and Reel Society, Grange Bowling Club. Monifieth Boys' Brigade and Girls' Brigade. We also run activities within our two premises for the benefit of the residents of Monifieth and South Angus. These activities are well attended and enjoyed eg Community Playdate, SAM (Songs and Memories), Food for All, Badminton Club. Annual events are also a very important part of church life,. These include our main fundraiser the ever popular Bake and Book Sale, Craft Fair and the Christmas Fair.
