The company’s objects are: To support and promote the wellbeing of children and adults with an autistic spectrum condition (ASC) and their families and supporters within the geographical area of Grampian (comprising Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray) and any other areas where we may from time to time be asked to provide our services, and in furtherance thereof the company shall seek: (a) To maximise opportunities for children and young adults with an autistic spectrum condition (ASC) to build their social and communication skills through supported play, education and other activities. (b) To offer tailored support and advice to people with an ASC, through individual and group services, training, advocacy and specialised support. (c) To provide advice, training, advocacy, information and support to families and others involved with supporting people with an ASC. (d) To make appropriate representation to relevant statutory bodies and other organisations on behalf of people with an ASC and their families and supporters. (e) To provide advice, training and information to anyone with an interest in learning more about ASCs. (f) To increase public awareness regarding the challenges and circumstances of people with an ASC and their families and supporters and to encourage their inclusion and appropriate support in the community. (g) To promote, conduct and engage in research into autism and ASCs, to collect and disseminate information relating to these and to exchange such information with other bodies having similar objects. (h) To facilitate provision of other ASC-related services.

From April 2016 we began to publish charities’ accounts, initially for those charities with an annual income of £25,000 or more, and for all SCIOs.

From late 2017, where the charity is a company, a registered social landlord or is also registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales, a link is provided to the relevant regulator’s website where the accounts are made available. You have the right to the following information under section 23 (1)(a) and (b) of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005, from the charity direct:
