Operations:
What the charity is set up to do and how it does this:
Our church is set up to support the community through various activities. We provide weekly worship services, community groups and a central prayer meeting, plus a monthly informal service. Teaching is offered in person and online. We operate a 'Storehouse Ministry' to help those in need with food and other essentials. We distribute food, provide Starter Packs, and offer practical help. Our Community Café provides lunch and company and connects people to other services. We also collect and distribute winter coats. We support specific groups through activities like a Men’s Group, Youth Group, and a bereavement support group. We also support Ukrainian people with a meeting space, English classes, and housing assistance. We partner with other organisations and participate in local forums. *OSCR is required by law to publish the names of a charity’s trustees and its principal office address as part of the charity’s Scottish Charity Register entry. They are also required to publish the annual report and accounts for each charity, including the names of some individuals. The only exceptions to this are where a charity or one of its trustees applies for this information to be excluded from the Register entry and where OSCR is satisfied that if it were published then the safety or security of a person or premises would be jeopardised.
