The objects of the Ass ciation shall be:- 71 (i) To promote and encourage the continuation and development of the Perth Festival of the Arts. I (ii) To stimulate interest among members of the Association and the general public in the Perth Festival of the Arts through the publishing of information and suitable promotional material as well as through the other activities of the Association. (iii) To arrange a programme of meetings/events of an educational or general interest in the broad spectrum of the Arts, suitably spread over each year and having emphasis on being complementary to the programme of the Perth Festival of the Arts. (iv) To liaise with the Perth Festival of the Arts Organising Committee to ensure an interchange of views and ideas on the general objectives and activities of the respective organisations. I (v) To involve members of the Association in giving assistance to the members of the Perth Festival of the Arts Organising Committee with administrative matters related to the annual Festival. (vi) From time to time to give financial or other material assistance to the Perth Festival of the Arts using such funds as may be available to the Association or as may be raised by the Association specifically for that purpose.

Charity accounts and constitution – what information do we publish?

From January 2026, OSCR will begin publishing annual reports and accounts in full online once they are received. This marks a change from the current approach, where OSCR publishes accounts for certain charities, depending on their legal form and income, with personal details redacted.

When a charity publishes its accounts on its website and has supplied us with a link, we have made this available. From late 2017, where the charity is a company, a registered social landlord or is also registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales, a link is provided to the relevant regulator’s website where the accounts are made available. We accept no responsibility for the functionality, accuracy, or content of external websites – if you experience a technical issue with an external link, you should contact the charity directly.

You have the right to the following information under section 23 (1)(a) and (b) of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005, from the charity direct:

  • a copy of the charity’s latest statement of accounts
  • a copy of the charity’s constitution.

In addition to the above, a charity may also be able to provide you with previous years’ accounts and constitutions, although it is not obliged to do so. You can contact the charity to request this information using the contact details on the charity’s Register entry.
