Object:
1.1 We believe in God the Father, perfect Creator and Sustainer of this world, who sent his Son, Jesus, as a Man to die for the sins of the world. 1.2 We believe Jesus rose from the dead, ascended to his Father and sent the Holy Spirit as his permanent presence in the world. 1.3 We believe that on confession and repentance of our sin before God, and on putting faith in Christ, we are forgiven and brought into relationship with him by the Holy Spirit and receive eternal life, and that Baptism by immersion is one outward sign of that. 1.4 This relationship with God brings with it the responsibility to live in a way worthy of him and bring him honour. 1.5 This Church is a community of people who have come to a new relationship with God through Jesus Christ and seek to work together to worship him, live in obedience to him and tell others of the Good News of eternal salvation through Christ.

Charity accounts and constitution – what information do we publish?

From January 2026, OSCR will begin publishing annual reports and accounts in full online once they are received. This marks a change from the current approach, where OSCR publishes accounts for certain charities, depending on their legal form and income, with personal details redacted.

When a charity publishes its accounts on its website and has supplied us with a link, we have made this available. From late 2017, where the charity is a company, a registered social landlord or is also registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales, a link is provided to the relevant regulator’s website where the accounts are made available. We accept no responsibility for the functionality, accuracy, or content of external websites – if you experience a technical issue with an external link, you should contact the charity directly.

You have the right to the following information under section 23 (1)(a) and (b) of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005, from the charity direct:

  • a copy of the charity’s latest statement of accounts
  • a copy of the charity’s constitution.

In addition to the above, a charity may also be able to provide you with previous years’ accounts and constitutions, although it is not obliged to do so. You can contact the charity to request this information using the contact details on the charity’s Register entry.
