What the charity is set up to do and how it does this:
The Laurandy Centre is a regulated day care support service, registered with the Care Inspectorate. The Centre offers daily support(week days only) to older people (65 and over, with 2 places available for under 65 depending on health support required) Support is delivered from well equipped and fully accessible premises. Escorted transport available to those who may require it. A wide range of activities are available, as well as lunch and snacks, support and advice. Care support from trained staff, including personal care such as shower support. Other health agencies attend the Centre if required.

The Scottish Charity Register contains key information about a charity’s operations and finances. This includes:

  • the names of a charity’s trustees (exemptions apply)
  • its annual report and full accounts, if submitted after 9 March 2026
    (Accounts submitted prior to 9 March 2026 will be redacted, or may not be published, depending on the charity’s income level or legal form.)

These changes are designed to improve transparency across the charity sector in Scotland.
