Inquiry Report: Wick Academy Development Fund

OSCR has issued a formal direction to the charity trustees of Wick Academy Development Fund (SC032787) a charity with recreational purposes in Wick and its environs, preventing them from parting with any property of the charity without OSCR’s consent. This action was taken based on information we have obtained through an inquiry into the charity, and is intended to protect the charity’s property while OSCR seeks the appointment of a judicial factor to the charity. As part of an ongoing inquiry OSCR is concerned that the charity trustees have failed to use the charity’s funds to provide benefit to the public.
