About OSCR

We are the Scottish Charity Regulator. We are the independent regulator and registrar for over 25,000 Scottish charities including community groups, religious charities, schools, universities, grant-giving charities and major care providers.

All charities in Scotland must be registered with us and must meet annual reporting requirements to keep their status. We offer a wide range of guidance and services to support and encourage improvement within the charity sector.
