The Trustees shall hold the Trust Fund and the income of it to pay and apply the same for the purposes of the advancement of the arts, heritage and culture, and for the advancement of education, with particular reference to promoting education in, and the display, enjoyment and appreciation of, the artworks of the Scottish artist George Wyllie MBE (1921-2012), including without prejudice to the foregoing generality:- (i) acting as a collector and exhibiter of works of art, including in particular works of art by George Wyllie, and promoting more widely the exhibition and enjoyment of works of art; (ii) promoting education in relation to the works of George Wyllie and the wider arts, heritage and culture of Scotland including the influences of George Wyllie and of other Scottish artists; and such other similar charitable purposes or charitable institutions in such proportions and manner as the Trustees shall think fit.

From January 2026, OSCR will begin publishing annual reports and accounts in full online once they are received. This marks a change from the current approach, where OSCR publishes accounts for certain charities, depending on their legal form and income, with personal details redacted.

When a charity publishes its accounts on its website and has supplied us with a link, we have made this available. From late 2017, where the charity is a company, a registered social landlord or is also registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales, a link is provided to the relevant regulator’s website where the accounts are made available. We accept no responsibility for the functionality, accuracy, or content of external websites – if you experience a technical issue with an external link, you should contact the charity directly.

You have the right to the following information under section 23 (1)(a) and (b) of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005, from the charity direct:
