Operations:
What the charity is set up to do and how it does this:
1) To advance the Christian Faith in accordance with the Licence Agreement executed with Ascension Trust (Scotland). 2) To advance health, including the prevention and relief of sickness and human suffering, including those suffering from, amongst other reasons, excessive alcohol or substance use or misuse. 3) To relieve those in need by reason of age , ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. These purposes are achieved particularly by means of caring, listening and helping people where appropriate. This would take the form of providing goods or services and the provision of counselling and general support. These aims are achieved by a team of at least 3 fully trained Street Pastors patrolling the streets and various venues in Kirkwall between the hours of 10pm on a Saturday night and 2am on a Sunday morning.

  • its annual report and full accounts, if submitted after 9 March 2026
    (Accounts submitted prior to 9 March 2026 will be redacted, or may not be published, depending on the charity’s income level or legal form.)

These changes are designed to improve transparency across the charity sector in Scotland.
