To empower ethnic minorities through the provision of relevant information, guidance and support towards their well-being, and to enhance their active and positive contribution to the wider community of Scotland, (for example, through encouraging training for job seekers, information on civic responsibility, etc). To facilitate an understanding of Ethnic Minorities and their cultural heritage to the Scottish community through providing opportunities for diverse cultural activities and celebrations that would promote mutual social integration. To reach out to young people, especially from Minority Ethnic Communities and vulnerable families through sports, social events and the promotion of education, with the aim of enhancing their social lives and discouraging Anti Social behaviours through providing alternative healthy social activities and advocating responsible social behaviours. From April 2016 we began to publish charities’ accounts, initially for those charities with an annual income of £25,000 or more, and for all SCIOs.

When a charity publishes its accounts on its website and has supplied us with a link, we have made this available. From late 2017, where the charity is a company, a registered social landlord or is also registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales, a link is provided to the relevant regulator’s website where the accounts are made available. You have the right to the following information under section 23 (1)(a) and (b) of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005, from the charity direct:
