The object of the group is to promote the benefit of all persons over the age of fifty in Shapinsay which is now, or hereafter may be deemed, by law to be charitable by:- Co-ordinating volunteers to give practical help and emotional support to elderly and disabled people. Bringing together representatives of statutory and voluntary organisations, & individuals who have a personal or professional interest in the welfare of the elderly.
