Sign up for our webinar – Getting it right: your online annual return and accounts

02 Dec 2024

All charities registered in Scotland have a legal duty to provide OSCR with annual reports and accounts every year. Without this information there's no evidence to show that you are carrying out activities and providing public benefit.

It’s really important to submit your annual information on time so you can report transparently and build trust and confidence in your charity with OSCR, the public and others, such as funders.

To help you get it right, we are hosting a free online webinar which explains more about your annual duties, how to submit and what your online annual return and accounts should include.

How do I sign up?

The details of the webinar can be found below:

What will the webinar cover?

Many Scottish charities have a deadline of 31 December to submit their annual information. Whether your deadline is coming up soon, or you would like to get prepared ahead of time for your next submission, join OSCR’s accounting experts to learn more about:

  • What charities are required to submit to OSCR
  • How to complete the online annual return
  • Getting your accounts right
  • The future publication of accounts
  • How OSCR monitors submissions

There will also be the opportunity to ask questions as part of a Q&A. If you would like to submit any questions in advance, you can do so by completing this Q&A form.
