In October of this year, our staff took part in the annual UK Civil Service People Survey. The survey looks at civil servants' attitudes to working in government departments
The Scottish Charity Regulator’s score for overall engagement has increased by 5% since last year (now 63%) and is very close to the Civil Service generally (61%).The response rate was 79% - which was above the Civil Service average (67%).
The key highlights are:
In some areas, OSCR had a lower score than the Civil Service average, mainly the responses on ‘My Team’ (75% positive); ‘Inclusion and fair treatment’ (73%) and ‘Learning and Development’ (48%).
The Regulator’s Chief Executive, David Robb said:

OSCR’s dedicated and knowledgeable staff are our greatest asset and we strive to provide the best working environment possible and build on the expertise and excellent teamwork that exists. I am grateful to all our staff for their participation in the survey and for their contribution to our important work underpinning trust and confidence in Scotland’s 24,300 charities.”
