Join OSCR and your local TSI to learn more about upcoming changes to charity law

07 Nov 2024

The Charities (Regulation and Administration) (Scotland) Act 2023 is introducing some important changes to charity law in Scotland. Some of these changes have already taken effect, with others to be introduced on a phased basis in 2025.

To help you prepare for these changes, and understand how they may affect your charity, we are hosting a number of online sessions in partnership with the TSI Scotland Network.

How do I attend the online sessions?

The online webinars will be held on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 19 November 2024 (2pm – 3.30pm)
  • Wednesday 4 December 2024 (10am – 11.30am)
  • Thursday 5 December 2024 (6.30pm – 8pm)

The sessions will include information about the legislation, details of the changes and the timeline for them to be introduced, advice on how charities can prepare, and a Q&A session.

If you would like to attend, please contact your local TSI.

Please note, each webinar will cover the same topics so please choose the date/time which suits you best.

What is the TSI Scotland Network?

The TSI Scotland Network is a body of charities that support the third sector across Scotland. There are 32 TSIs (Third Sector Interfaces) in Scotland, one for each local authority area.

Your local TSI can provide you with a wide range of support on everything from setting up a charity to completing funding applications or accessing training for trustees and volunteers.

Visit the TSI Scotland Network website to find out more and search for your local TSI organisation.
